Internet Radio Program Celebrates Director Brian De Palma with Special Guests

During the broadcast, several of De Palma's closest friends, collaborators and devotees will share their insights into the artist and his landmark roster of unforgettable films.
Author Eyal Peretz, whose new book Becoming Visionary: Brian De Palma's Cinematic Education of the Senses will be released this October, will discuss the philosophical ideas present in some of De Palma's most audacious works, including Carrie, The Fury, Blow Out and Femme Fatale.
Actors William Katt and William Finley will join the Movie Geeks to discuss their working relationships with De Palma. Katt, who was featured in the 1976 De Palma classic Carrie, as well as the widely beloved television series The Greatest American Hero, inadvertently won his role in De Palma's film while auditioning to play Luke Skywalker in the George Lucas classic Star Wars. William Finley, the brilliant character actor who attended college with De Palma, has been featured in many of De Palma's films, including Phantom of the Paradise, Sisters and The Black Dahlia.
Speaking to the ever-growing De Palma appreciation movement brewing on the internet, web host and musician Geoff Beran will join the broadcast to discuss his website, De Palma A La Mod, as well as his personal impressions of the man and his films.
