Discount Cab Expands Smartphone Service with Launch of Android™ Application
Phoenix, AZ, December 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Discount Cab and parent company, Total Transit, are proud to announce the launch of a cab ordering Android application, powered by GoFastCab. Designed to make the process of ordering and receiving transportation easier, the company also launched an iPhone application earlier this year.
The Discount Cab Android app is complete with GPS locator, giving users the ability to confirm their exact location and then schedule a time for pickup. It’s that simple - no picking up the phone to dial, users need only tap the app on their smartphone, confirm their location and voila: a cab has been dispatched.
"We know that convenience and ease-of-use is important to our customers. Now that we have Android and iPhone apps, we've rounded out our suite of offerings,” said Total Transit Director of Business Development Stanton Sipes. “They can already order a cab via text, web or telephone, so these apps give them yet another alternative."
