Exotic Voyages Announce Grand Opening of International Airport in Phu Quoc

Hanoi, Vietnam, December 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Exotic Voyages are proud to announce this great news: Phu Quoc International Airport has opened on 2 Dec 2012.

It is good news for travelers who wish to choose the island of Phu Quoc as the next destination for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family beach stay. Phu Quoc International Airport is located in Duong To Ward with a total area of more than 900 ha, it has been built since 2008 with a total investment of VND16.2 trillion (US$771 million).

The 900-ha airport has a runway of 3,000 meter long and 45 meter wide, capable of receiving Boeing 777, Boeing 747- 400, and similar aircraft. The Airport will work with a capacity of more than 2.6 mil guests per year, and is expected receive 20 airplanes in rush hour, 7 mil guests per year and 3,500 per hour.

With the opening of an international airport this month, the pretty island is expected to attract more visitors in the next year.
