New Middle East Activity Ramps Up; Solamon Appoints Assad to Executive Team

Toronto, Canada, December 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Earlier today Jay Yeo, President, Solamon Energy Corp., announced the company has expanded its operations in several new countries with the appointment of Chris Assad, SVP Special Operations. Effective immediately, Mr Assad will continue to develop numerous opportunities and sell the Apollo Acre™ as turnkey commercial-scale solar farms into Lebanon, Tunisia, Kuwait, Cuba and Panama. "Mr Assad brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and we are very proud announce his appointment," says Yeo.

Yeo adds there will be additional announcements forthcoming related to new projects, while expressing optimism for positive outcomes across the Middle East, based on preliminary discussions held this past year for utility-scale solar opportunities in several territories. Solamon executives continue to develop mega-projects in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, as well as smaller islands in the Eastern Caribbean, and stimulate development activity in Central America and North Africa.
