USDA Approves PrimeroEdge Software for Use in Certification of Compliance with Lunch Meal Requirements

The PrimeroEdge Menu Planning module can be utilized as an alternative to the USDA Excel-based tool for school districts to submit and certify menus for the 6-cent additional lunch reimbursement.

Menu planners are able to see immediate, color-coded feedback for compliance as they design menus in PrimeroEdge. Since the PrimeroEdge Menu Planning Module is seamlessly integrated with Site Production Management, each campus plans for, produces, and records production for the menu developed. Along with real-time central availability of production records, other features include automatic production order generation and daily inventory withdrawals when both modules are implemented in conjunction with PrimeroEdge Inventory.
