New Company Offers Social Media Training Videos
Digibiz Training Company Helps Businesses Cut Through the Social Media Noise.
Chattanooga, TN, December 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Two entrepreneurs are working to help business owners figure out what will work in social media and what they should ignore. Chanté Newcomb and Dava Stewart have started Digibiz Training Company, which offers video-based social media training for professionals in specific industries.
“Most of the training that is out there is general, and not very helpful for a typical business owner,” says Ms. Stewart. “A dress shop owner needs to use different social tools than a financial advisor. We aim to provide training tailored to fit specific industries, that businesses can implement immediately and easily.”
Along with videos, Digibiz will offer live, online training via video chat, as well as worksheets, books, and more. Their packages are called “Academies” and business owners can choose to buy only those elements that will be most helpful for their organizations. For example, a salon owner can purchase the entire “Beauty Pros Academy” or any combination of videos, live support, and written materials.
Ms. Newcomb states, “We stress the importance of a brand’s participation in social media because outsourcing just doesn’t work. We show people how to streamline social into their operations, and use it for customer service and marketing purposes.”
The first Academy available will be the Retail Shop Academy, designed to help brick and mortar shop owners learn to use social media for maximum benefit. It will be available for purchase in February of 2013.
Next, Digibiz will offer the Beauty Pros Academy for salon and spa owners, makers and retailers of hair and skin care products and cosmetics. “This academy will be perfect for anyone involved in the beauty industry,” says Ms. Newcomb, who owned a salon herself at one time. The two expect that the Beauty Pros Academy will be ready in March of 2013.
Digibiz plans to release a new Academy approximately every month throughout 2013. They will provide training in a range of industries including retail, beauty, financial, pet-related, real estate, legal, health care, food, tradespeople, service, and many more. Each Academy will be tested by people working in the industry and will include advice and thoughts from leaders and experts.
Social media can feel like a time suck or impossible-to-navigate jungle for many business owners. These video courses provide targeted, immediately useful techniques that will improve business.
Digibiz Training Company was founded in late 2012 by Dava Stewart and Chanté Newcomb. The company produces videos, books, articles, and more to help businesses cut through the chaos of social media.
