Belle Chevre to Host First-Ever Pop-Up Store in Downtown Huntsville, December 15 & 16
Belle Chevre, America's most awarded goat cheese creamery, is hosting their first-ever pop-up shop in Huntsville, Alabama on December 15 and 16th. Special deals, custom gift box shipping, raffles, and free cheese will all be part of the pop-up excitement.
Elkmont, AL, December 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Belle Chevre is proud to announce its first pop-up store, to take place at downtown Huntsville’s beloved Tinsel Trail on December 15 and 16. All of Belle Chevre’s award-winning cheeses will be on-site, ready to purchase, from their wildly successful breakfast cheeses to specialty offerings like olive-oil marinated chevre. Belle Chevre gear and the company’s new DIY Cheese Kits will also be available for purchase.
The pop-up store will feature samples of all Belle Chevre products as well as a gift box crafting station, Signed copies of Tasia Malakasis’ new debut cookbook will also be on sale, with personalization options. They’ll be able to put a gift together and Belle Chevre will ship it. Customizable books and signed copies. Personalized gift boxes can be shipped from the pop-up store at a flat rate of $5, with free shipping for orders over $100. Any visitors who spend over $50 can enter a raffle to win a Belle Chevre goodie basket: an apron, bag and cheesecake.
The pop up store will be open from 3-8 on December 15, Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday, December 16. Special performances during this time at Tinsel Trail include: Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre, Comic Science Improv, Asher, The Love Apples, and the Discovery Middle School Flute Choir.
“Our artisan goat cheese is the perfect holiday gift,” says Belle Chevre president Tasia Malakasis. “That’s why we wanted to pop up in Huntsville as a one stop gift shop.” Tinsel Trail is at the lake on the west side of Big Spring Park and is complemented by the Huntsville Museum of Art’s ice skating rink and dozens of performers who will be playing on weekend evenings. The main entrance is located outside the gazebo in Big Spring Park. It is close to the intersection of Williams and Lowe.
Belle Chevre has produced a variety of internationally acclaimed chevres since 1989 using time-tested European farmstead techniques. The company is purposefully small, and each chevre is hand made in Alabama by its passionate cheese makers. Belle Chèvre cheeses have received numerous national awards from the American Cheese Society and the American Dairy Goat Association, and have been featured by Martha Stewart, Oprah, and everyone in between.
