Moscow, Russia, December 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- A number of events that were organized by IBD and Le Cercle Kondratieff with Russian IT companies (RUSSOFT members) took place on 28-29 November. The Russian delegation included RUSSOFT members and it's chairman of BoD and CEO of Artezio Pavel Adylin. French side was represented by Vice Mayor of Paris - Christian Shate, members of French and Parisian government organizations, President of OW2 (The open source community for infrastructure software) - Cedric Thomas, representatives of two leading IT-Clusters in Paris region (Cap Digital, Systematic), number of research organizations and top-ten Paris universities.

Representatives of Russian companies held a number of meetings with their French colleagues.
Pavel Adylin, Artezio CEO and the chairman of RUSSOFT: “Last event was intended for informational purposes and was very informative. Its main task was to look into the French software development industry, to see how its accompanied ecosystem (I mean infrastructure, IT associations and regional clusters, government support for IT sector, technological platforms, financing of innovative projects, technical education) is organized, to understand the potentials of the interaction with French IT companies.”
With the help of colleagues from ITMO were organized meetings of RUSSOFT delegation and representatives from corporations THALES, the European Technology Platform ARTEMIS (embedded systems) and ITEA2 (strategic pan-European program of Advanced Studies in SiSS (Software-intensive Systems and Services)). From the ITEA2 side were identified promising areas for interaction, which include cloud computing, BigData, transport control systems, medical IT applications and others.
Issues of interaction with ARTEMIS technology platform were discussed with the Board member of the platform, the Director of the Advanced Research of THALES Corporation - Laila Gide. According to Laila Gide, line 2012-2013 is a transitional period for many European institutions, including the ARTEMIS, a strategic program and budget will be created, as well as lists of new long-term projects and initiatives.
