Fairfield Harbour Community Manager Wins CAI-NC Manager of Distinction Award
Mystre’ Van Horn Recognized for Excellence by North Carolina Chapter of Community Associations Institute
New Bern, NC, December 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour (www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that Mystre’ Van Horn, community manager, was recently named a Manager of Distinction by the Community Associations Institute’s North Carolina Chapter (CAI-NC). The award recognition took place at CAI-NC’s annual conference in October. Van Horn, who has served as Fairfield Harbour’s community manager since 2011, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community as well as overseeing the communication between staff, owners, committee members, board members and local leaders. With a longstanding background in the real estate industry, she previously worked for Century 21 prior to joining Fairfield Harbour’s professional management company, Community Association Services (CAS).
In addition to her involvement with CAI-NC, Van Horn works alongside a number of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Registered Parliamentarians (NCRP), the National Association of Registered Parliamentarians (NARP), National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Association Management Specialists (AMS).
