Sage Jewels Owner Invited to Participate in Competition for First Lady's Annual Luncheon
Lisa Marie Glover was invited to participate in a jewelry competition for a design to be distributed at the First Lady's Annual Luncheon with the Congressmen's wives.
Atlanta, GA, July 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Next year Congressman's David Scott (Georgia) wife will chair the First Lady's Annual Luncheon with the Congressmen's Wives. As chair Mrs. Scott also selects the gifts to be distributed. Through the Arts Clayton Gallery she has intiated an artist call for design submission and consideration.
Sage Jewels owner/jewelry designer Lisa Marie Glover was invited to participate in the "Artist Call" for jewelry designs. Ms. Glover submitted two designs for consideration.
As a finalist Ms. Glover is both excited and honored for being invited. "As a 2-year old company still evolving and being considered as a finalist for such a prestigious competition is great", stated Ms. Glover
Sage Jewels specializes in custom-made, on-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Sage Jewels emerged into the world of retail in 2005 out of the vision of its owner owner/jewelry Designer Lisa Marie Glover in 2005 following the breast cancer diagnosis of her college roommate and best friend. Lisa vowed to stand with her friend hopeful that the journey would end in spiritual wholeness and healing.
Work and life presented challenges and stresses. During time Lisa was employed as a Transportation Planning Manager in Henry County, one of the fastest growing counties in Georgia and the United States.
As Lisa began to explore an outlet that would allow her to express her inner most feelings, the art of jewelry making emerged. Because of her childhood experiences assisting her mother in making jewelry the art form was familiar. The designs that represent Sage Jewels and Lisa Marie have evolved through times of Lisa's emotional struggle and spiritual encouragement experienced with her friend to the place where they now celebrate the victory of a breast cancer survivor.
The spiritual and celebratory designs of Sage Jewels, LLC consist of quality materials that include gemstones, handmade dichroic glass, natural stones, pearls, Swarovski crystals and crystal pearl, glass beads, seed beads and sterling silver. As a jewelry designer, Lisa promises that "you won't see your Sage Jewels creation being worn by others."
