Ivy Vining Consulting's Owner Reappointed to Transportation Research Board Committee - Women's Issues in Transportation

TRB is a division of the National Research Council (NRC), a private, nonprofit institution that provides expertise in science and technology to the government, the public, and the scientific and engineering communities. The NRC is jointly administered by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine. Members of NRC technical committees serve as individuals, not as representatives of the organizations by which they are employed or of which they may be members.

The purpose of this committee is to identify emerging women's issues in the use of transportation; define research needs related to these issues; and stimulate, gather, and disseminate relevant research findings.
