Public Speaking Club Presents Awards at Holiday Party

Sparta, NJ, December 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- First of Sussex Toastmasters club presented public speaking awards to club members at its food drive and holiday party December 11, 2012. Carole Moore won the award for Best Speaker, the Best Evaluator award went to Dori Zarr, and Deborah Holinrake received the Best Table topics Speaker award.

Club members donated non-perishable food items to Sparta United Methodist Church at their annual holiday party complete with refreshments, Secret Santa gifts, karaoke and dancing.

First of Sussex Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, a non-profit public speaking and leadership development organization dedicated to providing leadership and public speaking training and experience to Toastmaster members worldwide.

First of Sussex Toastmasters club supports its members in attaining their leadership and public speaking goals by offering speaking and leadership opportunities, awards, constructive feedback and mentorship, and communication and leadership education manuals.

The public is invited to attend a First of Sussex Toastmasters meeting as a guest to see how Toastmasters teaches us to think, speak and listen more effectively.

First of Sussex Toastmasters club meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at Sparta United Methodist Church, 71 Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ.
