Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, July 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The first international-style shopping mall in Serbia, Delta City in New Belgrade, is 100% leased out and ready to open in November.
Delta City will feature world-class facilities and boast big-name anchors, including Zara, Marks & Spencer, Esprit, New Yorker, Bestseller and Sport Impuls. The mall features a Maxi supermarket, a Ster Cineplex, a bowling alley by Kolosej and a Tehnomarket store.

Delta City will have a very large catchment area – New Belgrade is the largest residential area of Belgrade with a very high population density. It will have high visibility from one of the main traffic arteries of New Belgrade and has excellent accessibility by car and public transport from all areas of the capital.
The total size of the development is 85,000 m², and it will also feature abundant parking, distinctive cafes and restaurants, and a playroom for children.
Delta is the leading shopping mall developer in Serbia and the region. Currently, Delta is undertaking work on another ground-breaking mall in Belgrade, Delta Planet, that will be a regional shopping venue, and the first mall in Montenegro, Delta City Montenegro in Podgorica, which is due for opening in spring 2008.
“We are very excited about opening the first international-style shopping mall in Serbia,” said Ana Disic, General Manager of Delta City. “As a pioneer in this industry we are bringing a totally new shopping culture to the market. Delta City is going to transform shopping and its fantastic entertainment facilities will make it a major attraction not only for the people of Belgrade, but for the whole country.”
Jovica Jakovac, General Manager of Colliers International Serbia, said, “We are extremely proud to have worked with Delta on this brilliant mall and to have brought such big names to the capital. Delta is the dominant force for retail in Serbia and we are the clear market leaders in our field, so together we make a great team.”
