William Peace University Names Ryan W. Davis as Director of Residence Life and Housing

Four-Year Baccalaureate University Hires Davis to Lead Student Life Residence and Housing Department

Raleigh, NC, December 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Ryan W. Davis has been named director of residence life and housing. In his role, Davis will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the overall residential life experience of William Peace University, which will include student development and daily operations. Additionally, Davis will establish and maintain communication with students living in the residence halls, serve as a personal counseling resource for residence hall students, and oversee the long-term growth of the university’s residence life and housing department. With more than seven years of higher education experience, Davis previously worked as the area coordinator and assistant director of summer programs at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.

- Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, in theatre and psychology. In 2011, he graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene with a Master of Arts in family psychology.
