S. Thomas Kaza Publishes Collection of Short Stories from the Good Story to Read.com Website
A dozen stories from the Good Story to Read.com website that over the past six years has introduced readers to interesting characters, brought chills down their spines, and opened doorways into the future, are featured in a new short story collection from S. Thomas Kaza.
Detroit, MI, December 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- For the first time since the Good Story to Read.com website was started six years ago to provide online readers with new and original short stories, a collection of these short stories is being offered. S. Thomas Kaza has brought together the first twelve stories that appeared on the website into one collection that covers the genres of realistic fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and ghost stories. A brief introduction to each story is also provided by the author.
The cover of the book features an oil painting titled "Highway" by New Zealand artist, Julian Hooper.
The first story tells the tale of a ghost, running from her horrible past, hungry for new memories in a war-torn land. The second story is about a young man's pride, his ability to speak an alien language and live in an alien culture. The third story puts a twist on the traditional fantasy story of a dragon, a knight, and a lady. The fourth story is about a boy growing up on the wrong side of the tracks. The fifth story is about life on a paradise planet and fishing. The sixth story features not one, but several ghosts.
The seventh story is a fantasy story, but it is about living with allergies. The eighth recounts a story told to the author by his father when he was fighting in World War II. The ninth story is about a human colony in the future under attack. The tenth story story takes a look at a new urban legend. The eleventh story shows how an evil act can bring about even greater evil. And the final short story in the dozen is about a girl's experience with death.
This collection of short stories is available as an e-book at Smashwords and other major online retailers.
