Dates set for the classes in the Government Contracting Institute sponsored by TargetGov and bwtech@UMBC.
Baltimore, MD, December 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Government Contracting Institute, a series of courses geared towards accelerating contracts and sales in the federal marketplace, has finalized the schedule of classes. The Institute, sponsored by bwtech@UMBC and TargetGov, is presenting the first two classes covering Federal Contracting Gap Analysis on January 15, 2013 and Market Identification Strategies and Tactics on January 29, 2013.
The Government Contracting Institute provides business people with the opportunity to receive instruction in all areas of contracting with the Federal Government from expert instructors. These courses will take place at the bwtech@UMBC’s Research and Technology Park. Space will be limited to ensure an optimal learning environment.

Eleven classes are scheduled for the first series. Topics covered will help both experienced contractors and those new to the complicated marketplace. These topics include: contractor registration requirements, sales and business development, market research, proposal writing, oral presentations, accounting and legal issues, project and contract management and security clearances and socio-economic certifications.
