The Douglas Company Begins Renovations on Cass Apartments

Detroit, MI, December 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Toledo, Ohio based general contractor, The Douglas Company, has begun long overdue construction renovations on the Cass Apartment building in Detroit, Michigan.

The project consists of renovations to an existing four story building that will create 41 rentable units, each with their own kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. An exterior masonry restoration will bring the building new windows, and an elevator will also be installed. Other new amenities include a computer lab, community room and lounge.

The Douglas Company started the renovations on November 26, 2012 with plans to finish within roughly one year. The project is owned by Cass Community Limited Dividend Association Limited Partnership in cohesion with MHT Housing Inc.
