About Miriam Marti

Dr. Miriam Marti is a doctor at the San Juan Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico since 1983. In 2010 she became the Compensation and Pension Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Marti earned her Medical Degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Marti specializes in Psychiatry. She has established a “Best Practice” due to her weekly visits and training with Veterans’ Benefits Administration Regional Office personnel and with various veterans’ organizations. Dr. Marti is a member of the American Medical Association, the New York Academy of Science, the American Academy of Forensic Examiners and the Puerto Rico Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Marti enjoys scuba diving.
