Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. Hosts Facility Expansion Grand Opening and Open House

Millington, TN, December 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. recently hosted a grand opening and open house of its newly expanded and renovated headquarters which included a ribbon cutting ceremony and an IBM PureFlex System presentation and demonstration. This special event marked a milestone for the Company, as it was a huge step forward in the growth of the business.

With the new addition, Unistar-Sparco Computers’ capacity was enlarged to include much needed space to meet the demands of newly awarded contracts, including: Computer Tablets and Accessories Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the General Services Administration (GSA); Mobile Solutions Equipment BPA for the GSA; Servers, Racks, Data Storage, Network Communication Switches, and Routers BPA for the GSA; Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Information Technology Product contract for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; and FirstSource II Value-Added Reseller Services for Information Technology Commodities and Solutions contract for the Department of Homeland Security. The expanded facility will help strengthen Unistar-Sparco Computers’ support of existing contracts with customers such as: Memphis City Schools, TIPS/TAPS, PEPPM, GSA, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the State of Mississippi EPL, to name a few.
