Sacred Voyages Retreats Held in Maui, Hawaii

Haiku, HI, December 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Each year, Sacred Voyages provides a Hawaii retreat on various islands. This year the retreat is on Maui and be from February 16-23, 2013. The retreat takes place with the group venturing into all day excursions to visit potent sacred sites. This group experience is combined with story telling and shamanic transmissions.

At the Hawaii retreat, participants are able to focus on awakening and transformation. The first thing Magick (the retreat facilitator) teaches participants is to alter one’s experience of time so that they have the feeling of timelessness. This creates a sacred container and a space for huge transformation. He also teaches a technique that changes one’s experience of time so that the week long retreat feels like a month. As such, the retreat becomes a deep immersion in spirit. Magick says that “when participants immerse themselves this deeply in spirit and love, they expand their consciousness and they are never the same again.”

As part of the creation of this container, participants are asked to turn off their phones and computers for the entire week, and cut all their cords (energetic ties) to everything and everyone in the world they came from. Everyone on the Hawaii retreat is invited to live every moment and make all decisions from their higher self, or inner guidance, which often removes participants from Western thinking even more. Even Magick leads the retreat this way. He has no advance plan, no agenda, no schedule and no idea what he will teach or where he will take participants. The only thing he knows is that most days the group will visit sacred sites and he will teach through a form he calls “shamanic transmission.” Everything unfolds in the moment of now.

The transmissions, time traveling experiences and teachings have come to Magick through the study of many forms of both Western and Eastern shamanism and wisdom. He has trained extensively, one – on – one, both on the mainland and all over Hawaii, with powerful Shaman, Kahuna and spiritual elders over the last 15 years. Some of them trained him in both how to effectuate transformation in others through sound and stories, as well as how to alter time and space. Magick says he simply “gets out of the way” and his higher self “gets in touch with the higher selves of the participants, and the Island as a teacher, and just transmits what comes through.”

The ancient technique of story telling is always utilized on the Hawaii retreat to effectuate powerful transmissions of transformation and awakening. "Through story telling, I bypass both my conscious mind, and the participants conscious minds. In this I transmit not just specifically tailored metaphors that open doorways of possibility in their being, but also I transmit the frequency of whatever specific awakening and transformation is needed in the moment. Often after I have done a transmission/talk to a group, several individuals tell me that it seemed that the stories were all custom tailored for them. People are often quite altered by the transmission."
