“Grave of the Vampire” – The 40th Anniversary Edition! Considered by many as one of the greatest cult movies of all time, Grave of the Vampire finally arrives on DVD in a Widescreen anamorphic edition from a High-Definition 35mm transfer. Starring B-movie icon William Smith (Maniac Cop, Red Dawn), this film shocked audiences 40 years ago when the young mother of a vampire baby began nursing it with her own blood! Grim and grisly, it quickly became a cult favorite through frequent midnight movie showings and television airings and can now be seen in this newly-remastered version on DVD. The film also stars Michael Pataki, Lyn Peters, and Diane Holden, and was written by David Chase (The Sopranos, Not Fade Away). The DVD includes the original Theatrical Trailer and a before-and-after film restoration comparison. Catalog number RME2125, UPC: 802993212503, $14.99 srp
“The Jitters” – In the wake of the popular Hong Kong Jiang Shi "hopping vampire" movies, producer-director John Fasano (writer of Another 48 Hours) jumped into the mix with this English language take on the strange Chinese monster genre. James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China, Blade Runner) stars as a local wizard who keeps the growing population of hopping vampires in check, until he runs afoul of a vicious street gang. Also starring Frank Deitz and Marilyn Tokuda, the DVD features include a commentary track (with director John Fasano and actress Marilyn Tokuda), two promotional reels, and an enhanced-widescreen transfer. Catalog number RME2123, UPC: 802993212305, $19.99 srp
“Edgar Wallace Collection Volume 1” – Visit the wild, wild world of writer Edgar Wallace and step into the equally wild world of German horror thrillers with this suspenseful double feature featuring three hours of hooded madmen, evil maniacs and wilting showgirls. The Mad Executioners (1963) hang their victims all over London as they play judge, jury and executioners all rolled into one death-dealing package. The second feature is the rarely-screened Fellowship of the Frog (1959), which features the hooded super villain The Frog: a masked lunatic with a penchant for blow-torches. Catalog number RME2134, UPC: 802993213401, $14.99 srp
“Edgar Wallace Collection Volume 2” – Enter the creepy world of writer Edgar Wallace in this second double feature collection of horror mysteries. The Phantom of Soho (1964) haunts the lavish strip clubs of Soho, stalking his victims while wearing a skull mask and glitter gloves. It's sexy...it's horrifying - you choose. Then unravel the enigma that is the Curse of the Yellow Snake (1963), a nifty little film that pits our heroes against a deadly Asian cult determined to control the famous "Yellow Snake"...a symbol of great power that people will literally kill to possess. Catalog number RME2135, UPC: 802993213500, $14.99 srp
