Established Northern Virginia Law Firms to Combine
Rees Broome, PC, and Kasimer & Annino, PC, to join their attorneys and staffs effective January 1.
Tysons Corner, VA, January 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Two well-known local law firms, Rees Broome, PC, and Kasimer & Annino, PC, have announced that they will join under the Rees Broome, PC name effective January 1, 2013. The combined firm will have more than forty attorneys with offices in Tysons, Bethesda, Gainesville (VA) and Loudoun County.
Both firms trace their beginnings to the mid-1970’s. While Rees Broome became a general services firm doing corporate and tax work, litigation and community association representation, Kasimer & Annino focused on construction law, particularly for public-works contractors building roads, bridges and commercial buildings throughout the region. The combination will enhance Rees Broome’s own construction law practice while giving Kasimer & Annino clients access to RB’s broad range of legal services.
Both name partners from K&A are joining Rees Broome. Joseph H. Kasimer will be based in RB’s main offices on Gallows Road in Tysons. Stephen J. Annino will continue to be based primarily in Loudoun County, currently in K&A’s existing office in Paeonian Springs, VA. Gina L. Schaecher, M. Joseph Pierce and Jordy Murray are also joining Rees Broome. All three will be based in Rees Broome’s Tysons office.
The newly-combined firm will be one of the largest and oldest local law firms in the Washington metro region. Often recognized on local and national “best lawyer” lists, it offers clients significant experience in corporate law, tax, trust and estate, commercial litigation, construction law, commercial leasing, land use, contract negotiation, employment law and professional liability defense, as well as its specialty practice representing more than a thousand area community and condominium associations.
