Founder of Mulkey Engineers & Consultants Partners with Daughter to Launch Senior Advocacy Company for Adult Children
Cary, NC, January 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Local Daughter, LLC., a company offering support and solutions for seniors and their adult children, officially began operations in the Triangle this month.
Local Daughter was created in an effort to offer local seniors an outlet that can provide health care advocacy, home management, personal business management and more.
Co-founded by Mulkey Engineers & Consultants founder and chairman, Barbara Mulkey, and her daughter Allison Mulkey, Local Daughter is hopeful it can lessen the burden on families separated by geographical distance, family and work responsibilities or even health challenges.
Combining shared experiences working with seniors, as well as their unique business backgrounds as an entrepreneur and engineer (Barbara) and in the insurance and banking industries (Allison), Local Daughter offers a fresh approach to a long-standing problem within families.
