Principal and Creative Director of Stop Studios Named to Jupiter Ball Steering Committee
Durham, NC, July 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Whitney Wilkerson, principal and creative director at Stop Studios, an award-winning creative services firm specializing in communication design and event management, has been named to the Steering Committee for the Morehead Planetarium’s eighth annual Jupiter Ball to be held on Friday, Nov. 17 at Morehead Planetarium. The Jupiter Ball is an annual black-tie gala that raises funds to expand educational programming for the Jupiter Education Hall and the Undergraduate Educational Fellowships at Morehead Planetarium at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a committee member, Wilkerson will assist in developing awareness of the event, securing live auction items and contributing in the preparations of the gala. The event will feature champagne, dinner and dancing, as well as a telescope viewing of planets and stars.
