EmployIndy Appoints Corporate Officers, Executive Committee Members and New Board Members
Indianapolis, IN, January 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- EmployIndy, Marion County’s local workforce development organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of the 2012-2014 corporate officers and executive committee members and two new members of the board.
Kathy Reehling will serve as chairman of the board. Bridget Boyle will serve as vice chair. Shital Patel will serve at secretary, and Paul Will will serve as treasurer. Scott Bess, Mark Fisher, Deron Kintner and Bill Taft will serve on the executive committee. Mark Fisher and Janet Reed are new to the EmployIndy Board.
Kathy Reehling is Owner and President of CREW Technical Services, a Specialty Electrical Contracting Company which focuses on Electrical Control Systems installation, qualification, commissioning, project information management, calibration, testing and technical writing. Founded in 1991, CREW currently employs 75 professionals locally and nationally to meet the needs of its Fortune 500 client base. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Purdue University. She is a distinguished member of the community with such distinctions as National Association of Women Business Owners; Woman Business Owner of the Year, 2007.
Bridget Boyle is Vice President of Roche Diagnostics Corporation and the human resources leader of the North American region for the diagnostics division. Her previous roles include Senior Human Resources Leader at Ventana Medical Systems and Vice President of Human Resources with JP Morgan Chase.
Shital Patel is the Enterprise Account Executive for Microsoft Corporation. She is a dynamic corporate leader with extensive financial, operations, sales/marketing and business development expertise across broad range of industries. Prior to joining Microsoft, Shital held the positions of Managing Director for Unisys Corporation and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Indianapolis. Shital holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Paul Will is Chief Executive Officer and President of Celadon Trucking, Inc. He joined Celadon in 1993. Paul has more than 17 years of transportation industry experience. A graduate of Indiana University, he spent several years working in public accounting for KPMG prior to joining Celadon. He is a certified public accountant and serves on the board of Celadon, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and the American Trucking Associations’ National Accounting and Finance Council (NAFC).
Scott Bess is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Goodwill Education Initiatives, Inc., which operates the Indianapolis Metropolitan High School and The Excel Center. Scott has been on the School Board of Trustees in Danville for the past twelve years and serves as a board member of College Mentors for Kids.
Mark Fisher is the Vice President of Government Relations for the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Mark serves as a liaison for companies wishing to relocate or expand in Marion County, assisting them through the local regulatory process, including zoning, public works, licensing and permitting. Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, certificate in Business and Economics from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master’s of Public Affairs from Indiana University-Indianapolis.
Deron Kintner is Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard’s nominee for Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for the City of Indianapolis, pending approval by the City-County Council. Prior to assuming the role of Acting Deputy Mayor, Deron worked as the Executive Director and General Counsel for the Indianapolis Local Public Improvement Bond Bank. Deron earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University-Bloomington and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington.
William G. (Bill) Taft has served as the Indianapolis Program Director for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since June of 2005. LISC Indianapolis and its affiliates have invested more than $60 Million into projects developed by neighborhood-based community development corporations and other non-profits. Bill holds an undergraduate degree from Cedarville University and a Masters Degree from the Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning.
Jan Reed is the Vocational Rehabilitation Region Three Manager. She manages seven Vocational Rehabilitation offices in Indianapolis and the surrounding counties. Jan’s career with Vocational Rehabilitation began in 1998 as a counselor in Marion County. Jan also worked with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction. Jan holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois and holds national certification as Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
