The US Small Business Administration certifies Cynergy Professional Systems into the HUBZone Program.
Santa Ana, CA, January 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cynergy Professional Systems, a trusted leader in next generation Land Mobile Radio communication systems, today announced that the US Small Business Administration certified the company as a HUBZone firm.
The Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Empowerment Contracting Program is administered by the SBA to encourage economic development in underutilized business zones. The US Federal Government sets the annual procurement goal for contracting with HUBZone firms at 3% of total contracting activities, with 2013 HUBZone prime contracts estimated at over US $10 Billion. In recent years, most Federal Agencies have underperformed to the 3% goal. Eligible HUBZone firms can receive Sole Source and Set Aside Contracts, as well as a 10% Price Evaluation Preference on Full and Open Contracts.
In addition to HUBZone Certification, Cynergy has also been certified as an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business / Woman Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business / Veteran Owned Small Business, Self-Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, Emerging Small Business, Department of Veterans Affairs VIP Certified SDVOSB, California Small Business Enterprise, and California Disadvantaged Veteran Business Enterprise.
