Pawfriendly Landscapes Speaks at Denver Dumb Friends League
Elizabeth Bublitz, founder of Pawfriendly Landscapes, Inc. was the keynote speaker at the Denver Dumb Friends League annual Dr. Mary E. Bates Founders Society Luncheon.
Golden, CO, March 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, creator of pet friendly yards, spoke at the annual Dr. Mary E. Bates Founders Society Luncheon on March 14, 2007 at 1:30pm. She discussed her creation of pet friendly yards and then had a question and answer segment. Ms. Bublitz' solutions for pet friendly yards are safe and organic methods to deter dogs from destroying backyards.
Ms.Bublitz, introduced the crowd to pet friendly solutions for their yard as well as their dog's yard. She addressed many issues and introduced the crowd to different types of edging that are used that are pet friendly, different mulches that are used for running paths as well as for bathroom areas, artificial turf that is also used for bathroom areas and digging, mulches that deter dogs from digging and eating rock, solutions for dogs who eat irrigation and plant material as well as lattice and chicken wire to prevent dogs from jumping or digging out of their yard.
During the question and answer segment, she offered some solutions for killing weeds without using chemicals. For example, vinegar sprayed on a weed during the heat will the plant, pouring hot water or hot salt water onto a weed or plant will kill it and won't harm your pets or wildlife.
Pawfriendly Landscapes was established in Sept, 1998 and continues to pioneer ideas for pets and their humans. Ms. Bublitz works closely with her veternarian/collegue to create solutions for pets' yards. Ms. Bublitz is an advocate for pets and promotes healthy relationships between pets and their humans.
