Pillar To Post Celebrates Record Year for Growth in 2012
North America’s Largest Home Inspection Company Adds 50 New Franchise Locations
Tampa, FL, January 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Despite an unpredictable economy, Pillar To Post has reported a stellar year for growth. In 2012, the company welcomed 50 new franchise owners, including five in December, which more than doubles their 20 franchisees in 2011. Looking to open 500-600 franchise locations over the next five years, Pillar To Post aims to capitalize upon their recent success and add 75 new territories in 2013.
“We are excited and humbled to announce a record year for growth,” said Dan Steward, president and CEO of Pillar To Post. “Thanks to our wonderful franchisees and solid business model, we have had the chance to share Pillar To Post with more communities than ever. It is our hope that these new locations provide comfort and peace of mind to homeowners and potential home buyers.”
In December, Pillar To Post introduced five new locations to communities across the country. The most recent class of franchisees includes Jordan Pennington in Anchorage, Alaska; Craig Cox serving Denver, Colo.; Jason Duffee in Los Angeles, Calif.; Ed Robbins in Doylestown, Pa. and Kevin Dougherty serving McLean, Va.
The outlook for the new, and existing, Pillar To Post franchisees looks promising for coming years. According to McGraw-Hill Construction’s recent Dodge Outlook Report, the construction industry, including residential construction and home inspection, is expected to see a six percent increase in revenue in 2013.
Additionally, as the housing market continues to improve, the need for home inspectors remains stronger than ever. According to a recent survey conducted by the American Society of Home Inspectors, 88 percent of all homeowners believe that home inspections are a necessity prior to purchasing a home, not a luxury. These findings suggest that home inspection companies such as Pillar To Post are positioned for continued growth and increased demand.
“We have big plans for the future and look forward to what 2013 has in store for us,” said Steward. “With help from our franchise owners and positive responses from the clients that we serve, we know that Pillar To Post will continue to grow in new markets.”
Founded in 1994, Pillar To Post is now the largest home inspection company in North America with over 400 franchisees, located in 45 states and 8 Canadian provinces. The company expects to open a total of 75 new locations by the end of 2013; long-term plans include adding 500-600 new franchisees over the next five years. Pillar To Post was ranked the No. 1 home inspection franchise in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2013 Franchise 500®, the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking.
