El's Gluten-Free Medleys Roll Into the South and West
Publix, HEB in the South and Whole Foods NorCal make space for Medleys.
Stratford, CT, January 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Following their initial launch in 2010, Connecticut based El’s Medleys Gluten-Free Snack Mixes are headed South and West, expanding into Publix Markets in Florida and Georgia, HEB stores in Texas, and Whole Foods Markets in Northern California this month. Medleys are already widely available in the Northeast and Midwest regions, with shelf space at Stop & Shop, ShopRite, Meijer, Giant Foods, Shop N Save, Sendiks, David’s, and numerous independent retailers.
The burgeoning customer demand for El’s zesty snack mixes led to orders for Medleys from Publix for its 769 Florida locations and 182 stores in Georgia. El’s also signed a six month exclusive contract with HEB to supply Medleys to its locations in 150 Texas communities.
The three flavors of Medleys have found a niche due to consumer word-of-mouth and testimonials via social media extolling their distinctive flavors and satisfying crunch, both of which are missing in most gluten-free snacks. El’s has built up great support in the gluten-free community, but is also enjoyed by those for whom gluten is not an issue. The three flavors currently available are Zesty Original, Sour Cream & Onion and Cheddar.
