RapidRedact Helps Children's Society Release Adoption Files
The Children's Society, founded in 1881, is a leading national charity committed to making childhood better for all children in the UK. The Children’s Society are using RapidRedact redaction software to enable individuals to have access to their records more quickly.

Residential care within the organisation ceased by the early 1990s, but adoption continued until 2006.
The Post Adoption and Care project receives up to 100 enquiries each month from people all over the world. Most individuals who contact the project want information about their backgrounds and many hope to re-establish contact with birth family members.

One of the key benefits of RapidRedact is that records managers can select and redact the required pages for the case request, rather than printing out entire case files. Most of the case file requests are submitted via email, and with RapidRedact the Children’s Society have the option of delivering the case files electronically. The audit copy enables the Records Manager to refer back to translucent redactions, so that they do not need to compare original and redacted documents side by side.
