Access Film Music Spotlights Exceptional Music during Festival Week - January 16 – 29, 2013.
Park City, UT, January 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Over thirty exceptional songwriters, bands and recording artists from around the world will perform as part of the 10th Annual Access Film Music Showcase (AccessFilmMusic.net). Everyday for two weeks, from January 16 - 29, diverse and eclectic musical talent will present their music to the film industry in Park City and other locations throughout Utah's famed Festival Week.
This winter marks the tenth consecutive year that Access Film Music Ltd. has provided an opportunity for independent musicians to expose their music to the film and visual media community. Music and film are inseparable; the mission of Access Film Music is to connect Music-Makers with Film-Makers.
As in previous years, most 2013 Access Film Music Showcase performances will be presented at The Spur (352 Main Street). This intimate venue, centrally located amid the chaos of Festival Week on Park City's Historic Main Street and just steps away from the Egyptian Theater and other major film festival locations, offers festivarians a comfortable spot to relax between films, hold informal meetings, or just hang out and listen to great live music.
Showcased music will span the spectrum, including Singer-Songwriters, Rock, Pop, Americana, Country, Rap, Blues, Folk, Jazz, and experimental artists. While some music venues in Park City during Festival Week require official festival credentials, Access Film Music events are open to the public -- no credentials required! There will be no cover charge for most 2013 Access Film Music Showcase performances.
Once again, complimentary sampler compilations featuring music by Access artists will be delivered to festival credential holders and members of the film, television and videogame industries on CD, USB flash drive and online.
Access Film Music Ltd. will host additional Festival Week music events throughout Utah, including exclusive music features on Park City Television, their Sneak-Peek Launch Party at Poplar Street Pub in Salt Lake City on January 16th, their annual Wrap Party / Hootenanny on Sunday, January 27th and their 4th Annual Desert Rock & Soak at Mystic Hot Springs in Monroe, Utah on Tuesday, January 29th.
