Mindgrub Solidifies Engineering Department with VP Hire

Baltimore, MD, January 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mindgrub CEO Todd Marks has announced that Sa’ad Raouf has joined the team as the Vice President of Engineering to further develop the growing department that has doubled during the past year. Sa’ad Raouf brings his 25 years of experience managing and leading software development teams to Mindgrub. Sa’ad’s reputation as an effective leader for delivering successful projects to Fortune 500 companies can only further enhance Mindgrub’s track record in exceeding client expectations.

Prior to joining the Mindgrub team, Sa’ad spent the past four years as the Vice President of Engineering at Benelogic. There, he led the software engineering team in designing and developing SaaS solutions to support the business operations. Sa’ad provided and delivered on the product development roadmap by investigating, researching, and recommending new technologies. In addition, Sa’ad was able to transform the software development process into a disciplined, organized, and efficient process.

Marks and Raouf first met in 2009 while Mindgrub was still operating out of Marks’ basement with seven employees. “I was impressed with Todd and Mindgrub, and knew at that point I wanted to be apart of their journey. With Todd’s passion for innovation and technology, I knew Mindgrub would shine,” said Raouf, recalling his thoughts after meeting Marks. As Mindgrub has grown from seven to fifty employees in three years, Marks knew it was time to land a Vice President to focus solely on adding increased efficiency and capacity to our engineering departments. “We have grown so much since leaving my basement. Our engineering team has grown to over twenty people, and continues to grow. I needed senior leadership with a proven track record to ensure our processes keep growing with the team. I knew Sa’ad would be a great fit once we reached the size we are now,” said Marks. Sa’ad will be focusing on the immediate delivery of our current client engagements and will work on growing and expanding the engineering teams to meet the explosive demand for Mindgrub services within mobile, social, web and games application development.
