Newell has been a real estate professional for more than three years, earning Rookie of the Year in 2009 and the Diamond Society award in 2010 for the top 13 percent of Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide. Prior to her career in real estate, Newell was a civil engineer. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and Master of Business Administration from Auburn University.
