Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley Hires Chief Development Officer
Burbank, CA, January 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley is pleased to announce the recent hire of Anja Kloch as the organization's Chief Development Officer.
Anja brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit fundraising. She began her career in the arts world, but quickly found her passion in working for organizations whose mission is to serve children. “I have a belief in the power of well-timed support. If you make yourself truly present for a child at a critical moment you can have a positive impact on the rest of their lives. The familial and mentoring relationships that develop between the Youth Development Professionals and the members of the Club ensures that we will be there when needed. I am excited to be a part of this extraordinary team and look forward to being of service to the community I call home.”
"Anja is passionate about helping children and making a difference. She has the energy, talent, commitment, and experience to help the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and GEV go from Good to Great,” said Shanna Warren the Chief Executive Officer.
A resident of our community since 2002, Anja lives in Burbank with her husband Henry, a small business owner, and her two children.
The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley serves over 1,500 youth each day. Over 60% of families at the Club are low income and receive financial assistance. Families were specifically selected to benefit the kids who need it most.
