SoCal Blues & Magic Club Fundraiser Series for Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Kickoff on March 23, 2013 at Redondo Beach Castle

Redondo Beach, CA, January 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The SoCal Blues & Magic Club 2013, a series of fun nights of magic, live blues & RnB music, rotating at intimate "wow" venues, will kickoff March 23, 2013 at The Redondo Beach Castle and feature an artist lineup including:

1) World-Class Magicians from The Greatest Illusionists Tour, produced by The Lady of Magic, Sisuepahn Phila.
2) Blues Legend Oklahoma Ollie & The Blues Stand Band ft. Roy Lee Jones
3) other Special Guests

Lady of Magic
Lady of Magic Sisuepahn Phila has been performing magic since 1996. She has performed at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and was chosen out of 1000′s of magicians to perform for the Superstars from the Magic Castle event in Japan in 2011. She was also featured on Penn and Teller, on the Discovery Channel and on an A & E special titled, “Backstage from the Magic Castle.” Lady of Magic performs at her Castle in Redondo Beach and is the Queen of Fundraisers.

Oklahoma Ollie
A well-seasoned veteran, Ollie has laid down his bass licks enhancing the musical talents of such notable legends as: Etta James, Curtis Griffin, Lowell Fulson, Willie Mae Thornton, George Smith, JD Nicholson and Lil Johnny Adams Before Ollie turned to playing lead guitar, he was a member of the legendary Phillip Walker Blues Band both from 1962 through 1965 and 1987 through 1989. In the interim years he touredinternationaly as the bass player for various groups. Oklahoma Ollie has now begun a new chapter in his career. Having formed his own group, the “Blues Stand Band,” he brings together all of his experience and showmanship to the stage

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
The mission of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. To fulfill our mission, we Source and acquire food and other products and distribute to needy people through charitable agencies or directly through programs; Energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief; Conduct hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocate for public policies that alleviate hunger. Our vision is that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County. Event Producer SoCal Event Network has pledged a portion of proceeds from the 2013 SoCal Blues & Magic Club Fundraiser Series to benefit the LA Regional Food Bank.

Redondo Beach Castle
The Redondo Beach Castle is truly a magical place. Originally built in 1924, the Redondo Beach Castle came alive in the 60's by Scotsman Allister Patterson who spent 37 years redesigning the Castle to make it what it is today.
