Space Coast Tactical LLC Announces "Civilian Response to an Active Shooter"
Recent Active Shooter incidents prompt Florida firearms training company Space Coast Tactical LLC to design and implement a course for civilians who want to be prepared.
Melbourne, FL, January 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Increased awareness by the public that they Can do something to save themselves and others in case of an Active Shooter incident has prompted Florida firearms training company Space Coast Tactical LLC to design and implement a course for civilians who want to be prepared, in line with the President's recent EO to “Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.” The class is based on the same proven procedures and methods as classes currently being taught to Law Enforcement and delivered by FDLE certified instructors.

Plymale, Space Coast Tactical's Head Trainer and himself a retired LEO, had this to say “I started teaching this course to law Enforcement personnel several months after The Columbine Shooting. Over the years it has become more than evident there needed to be a class structured for Civilians in their role in an Active Shooter Response (ASR). Law Enforcement cannot be everywhere and that is why the first responder role may fall on the responsible armed citizen. In the present day world where violence can come to your school, church, Mall and even your home, we can help. By attending one of our highly specialized and professionally taught courses it will take you to the next level in preparedness. Students will be exposed to the realities of what is expected of them as an armed citizen in the event they choose to protect their family and others.
