L.A. Comedy Club of Las Vegas is All Grown Up
The L.A. Comedy Club has moved to Windows at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip and set for opening show on Jan. 23 at 9:30 p.m.
Las Vegas, NV, January 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The L.A. Comedy Club of Las Vegas (http://www.lacomedyclub.com/) will be moving to Bally’s Las Vegas to share a space with Las Vegas’ best dinner show, Tony & Tina’s Wedding. The comedy club will operate one show five nights per week (Wednesday – Sunday) at 9:30 p.m. in Windows, a beautiful 300-seat showroom with 30 -foot high window walls overlooking the Strip. The increased capacity will allow the club to return to booking comedy heavy hitters like winner of “Last Comic Standing” (http://www.nbc.com/last-comic-standing/) Felipe Esparza (http://felipesworld.com/), and E! Entertainment (http://www.eonline.com/) comedy personality Loni Love (http://www.lonilove.com/).
“L.A. Comedy Club is known for playing host to edgy and fresh comedians, and attracting guests from all over the city. The show has been so successful that it outgrew its space at The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and we felt they could easily fill the time spot after Tony & Tina’s Wedding,” said producers of Tony & Tina’s Wedding, Raphael Berko & Jeff Gitlin (http://www.tonyandtinavegas.com/). [KAF1] “We have known Joaquin and Matt, producers of the L.A. Comedy Club, for nearly 13 years, and together we generated million of dollars in ticket sales for Caesars Entertainment (http://www.caesars.com) at the Rio. We look forward to doing the same here at Bally’s (http://www.ballyslasvegas.com).”
Opening the Club at Bally’s feels like coming home to co-founders and operators, Joaquin Trujillo and Matt Chavez.
“Bally’s and the Caesars family was the next logical step to grow the L.A. Comedy Club Brand,” said Joaquin Trujillo, producer/owner of the L.A. Comedy Club. “I have had contracts with Caesars-Entertainment for over a decade now, having worked on more than 16 shows with them at various levels, ranging from photo concessions, group sales, and most recently as Brand Management/Broker Relations Consultant for Chippendales (http://www.chippendales.com), but this is our first sole operation with them. I have been very impressed with the way Caesars-Entertainment has supported shows and talent over the years, and I am very happy to be here. It does feel like home. It is not easy being a stand-alone operation on the Strip, but that hard work has now rewarded us with this opportunity.”
“Can’t wait to start!” said Matt Chavez, co-founder and head of talent booking for the L.A. Comedy Club of Las Vegas. “Several of our comedians had outgrown our previous 140-seat location, but now we have the flexibility to get back some of the big names we booked in the past and will give tourists and locals a rockin’ show.”
Tickets for the L.A. Comedy Club are available for $29.95 for General Admission or $49.95 for VIP line, with an option to upgrade any ticket to all-you-can-drink (well drinks and domestic beer) for only $25 more. Ticket prices do not include taxes and fees. Tickets are on sale at all Caesars’ Box Office locations, or online at Ticketmaster.com. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 9:30 p.m.
