Healing Heroes Freedom Fest
Charity hosts inaugural Bike and Car event to support injured Veterans.
Lakeland, FL, January 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Healing Heroes Network is excited to announce the inaugural Healing Heroes Freedom Fest Motorcycle and Car Rally from 10am-5pm on Saturday, February 23rd. Located at the Sun N’ Fun Grounds at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport, attendees will enjoy music, vendors, food truck rally, car and bike shows, and more--including special guest, actor from FX Network's Sons of Anarchy, Ryan Hurst.
Many events are planned throughout the day. Their motorcycle show will award prizes for Best Cruiser, Best Bagger, Best Bobber, Best Sport, and Best Custom. Their car show will award prizes for Best Classic, Best Domestic, Best Import, and Best Truck. Entry is $15.00 per vehicle for pre-registration or $25.00 the day of the event. A precision motorcycle routine will be performed by the Fort Lauderdale Harley-Davidson Drill Team. Music performances will be by Partners in Crime.
Limited Meet and Greet passes are currently available online to see Ryan Hurst, famous for portraying Harry "Opie" Winston from Sons of Anarchy. Passes include a picture with Ryan and a signed autograph. Meet and Greet passes can be purchased online for $150.00 per person.
The event will also include the Harleys for Heroes Giveaway and Awareness Journey Kick-off. The 2012 Harleys for Heroes Giveaway winner will be awarded the keys to their new Harley-Davidson® 2012 Street Glide® and 2012 Fat Boy Lo®. Tickets for this drawing will be available until February 15, 2013, at www.HarleysforHeroes.com. The new motorcycles for the 2013 Harleys for Heroes Giveaway will be unveiled at the Freedom Fest. The Awareness Journey will kick-off from Lakeland to the Detroit Autorama where they will show off the restored custom Healing Heroes Awareness Journey Mustang.
