The ARTizFACTS Studio Gallery in New Rochelle NY Will Have an Open Studio and Upconmng Art Classes for the Community

New Rochelle, NY, January 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Artizfacts Studio Gallery in the heart of downtown New Rochelle NY will be opening its door again in celebration for Black history month. There will be an in depth discussion with the artist relating to social constructs as they dictate the perceptions of family, relationships and community in the urban setting and how images play a powerful roll with these themes. And for those that want to be creative there is something for you as well.

Always had the desire to paint but have very little experience or confidence: Perhaps you just want to brush up on your fundamental skills or maybe you need a therapeutic step away from the daily routine after a long day at work. Artizfacts Studio Gallery in the heart of down town New Rochelle is offering three night sessions of five week painting classes for an inexpensive rate for adults and materials are included. Workshops are facilitated by Kevin McDowell a New York based emerging artist who is NYS Certified in the visual arts with the NY Dept. of Education and has taught public school students for over 15 years.

The painting workshop is designed to meet your individual needs. Flexible evening hours Tuesday through Thursday with multiple levels of artists skills accepted beginners, intermediates and advanced.
