MaxLite Donates One Thousand CFLs to Help Hurricane Sandy Victims in New Jersey
West Caldwell, NJ, January 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- MaxLite®, a global leader in state-of-the-art LED technologies, announced today it is donating one thousand compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) to help victims of Hurricane Sandy who are rebuilding their homes and businesses after the storm.

MaxLite is donating 1,000 bulbs to the Hurricane Sandy Relief effort.. The contribution includes 500 MaxLite Enhancement Suite eight-watt A19 CFL Bulbs, which replace 20-watt incandescent bulbs, and 500 Enhancement Suite 25-watt Spiral CFL Bulbs, designed as replacements for 100-watt incandescent bulbs. The bulbs offer instant-on capabilities, quality color, high lumen performance and long life.
MaxLite CFLs will be distributed to shore towns and residents who request light bulbs, as well as organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The United Way and many other charitable grassroots 501(c)(3) registered organizations.
The Christie Administration has created a donation hotline for tangible donations to assist Hurricane Sandy victims recover. Corporations, organizations, and individuals that want to participate are encouraged to call the hotline at 1-855-NJDONATE or email donate@gov.state.nj.us before organizing a shipment or initiating a collection drive in their community in order to match goods and items with the needs of Hurricane Sandy's victims. The Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, a separate initiative announced by Governor Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie, collects financial donations to aid in Hurricane Sandy relief.
