Royal India Brings San Diego’s Favorite Indian Cuisine to North County, with Opening of Del Mar Location This Month
Co-Owners, Sam and Jag Kambo of Royal India Group, are adding to their list of restaurant locations with their second Royal India Restaurant.
San Diego, CA, January 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The restaurant voted “Best Indian” in San Diego Magazine’s “Best Of,” 10-News A-list and The Union Tribune is bringing it’s international cuisine to North County, this month. Delicious and authentic, Co-Owners Sam and Jag Kambo have announced the official opening of their Del Mar location to be January 15, 2013.
Royal India announced the official opening of its doors on January 15th at 3860 Valley Center Drive, in the Vons shopping Center. With 2300 square feet of traditional Indian décor, direct from palaces in India, and a floor-to-ceiling waterfall, North County can now enjoy lunch and dinner, daily, with the same, award-winning menu items offered at the Downtown location.
“We’ve had guests come all the way to our Downtown restaurant, from North County, for years now; asking us when we would open a location in their area,” said Sam Kambo, Co-Owner of Royal India Restaurants. “For quite a while, we’ve been on the lookout for the perfect location to open another Royal India restaurant and we’re extremely confident that we found it here, in the heart of Del Mar.”
Serving a wide variety of vegetarian specialties, as well as Halal Meats, Seafood and Tandoori menu items, Royal India will also have a full beer and wine list to complement guests’ meals.
“We are looking forward to being part of the Del Mar community, meeting our neighbors and visitors alike, and showing North County what they’ve been missing all this time,” said Jag Kambo, Co-Owner of Royal India Restaurants. “We hope everyone will join us for both our Grand Opening event in March, as well as our traditional Indian holiday celebrations throughout the year.”
Royal India will host its Grand Opening event in mid-March, with full details to be announced in early February.
Royal India restaurant also hosts numerous celebrations throughout the year, such as the Holi Festival (March), the Harvest Festival (April), Rekhi (August), and Diwali (November).
Signature menu items include: fresh breads, baked on the interior wall of a tandoor (clay oven); a mix of flame-grilled, meat and chicken kebabs; curry plates, served with rice and spices, and an extensive list of vegetarian options.
