The Go-Ped ESR750H Hoverboard Li-Ion is now in stock at UrbanScooters.com.
Pasadena, CA, January 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- UrbanScooters.com would like to announce the latest addition to its expanding inventory, the Go-Ped ESR750 Hoverboard Li-Ion electric scooter. Urbanscooters.com is an online destination electric scooters, gas scooters, bicycles and a large variety of other recreational and commuter vehicles.
The engine behind the Go-Ped ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion is a 24-Volt, direct current brush motor with an aluminum heat sink. The power controller which monitors and controls this engine is a programmable variable speed controller, which allows technicians or advanced users to modify the scooter’s performance and perform board diagnostics.
The Go-Ped ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion has two modes of operation, called “Econo” mode and “Turbo” mode. In Econo mode, the use can travel at up to 12 miles per hour, and their maximum range is brought to up to 28 miles. In Turbo mode, the rider’s maximum range on this scooter is up to 16 miles, but the maximum speed available to them is extended up to 20 miles per hour.
The Go-Ped ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion is a top performing scooter based on the standard Go-Ped ESR750H. Instead of the Sealed Lead Acid Battery system used to power the standard ESR750H, the ESR750H Li-Ion uses a Lithium-Ion battery system. This reduces the overall weight of the scooter while greatly enhancing range and battery cycle life. These batteries can be fully charged half the normal internal charger charge time, with the included external battery charger.
There are three battery options available for the Go-Ped ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion. Buyers can select two (16 Ah), three (24 Ah), or four (32 Ah) Lithium-ion battery packs in the battery system. These battery systems allow for a maximum economy mode range of 14, 21, and 28, respectively. In turbo mode, the maximum range of 8, 12, an 16. Total weight of the scooter is also dependent upon battery system selection: 43 pounds with 2 battery packs, 46 pounds with 3 battery packs, or 49 pounds with 4 battery packs.
The scooter is built around the signature style Go-Ped wooden deck and its 4130 Chromoly frame. Chromoly is a steel alloy containing chromium and molybdenum. The handlebar is made of hardened aluminum. Also built-in is Go-Ped’s C.I.D.L.I (“Cantilevered Independent Dynamic Linkless Indespension”) suspension system, with front and rear swing arms.
Frank Minero, founder and President at UrbanScooters.com, commented on the product’s launch: “The ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion is an excellent scooter with lots of options, so we're quite happy to be offering it now.”
The drive train is chain driven, and includes an auto-adjusting chain tensioner. The “Mad Dog” front disc brakes have a stainless steel “wave” disc rotor to enhance braking consistency. The Go-Ped ESR 750H Hoverboard Li-Ion 24 comes with a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty and a 2 year warranty on the frame and suspension forks.
