Scorpion Racing Products Enters National Decal Program for IMCA Modified Division
Ocala, FL, January 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Scorpion Racing Products is pleased to announce it is in its fifth season as a marketing partner with the International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) racing sanctioning body, and is now starting its first season as part of the National Decal Program for the IMCA’s Modified division.
All drivers in the Modified division will be required to display two Scorpion Racing Products decals in a designated location on their race car, and will have to provide proof of the decal placement to IMCA to become eligible for point fund shares.
“It’s very exciting to have a new face on our required decal program for IMCA Modifieds and Scorpion Racing Products is an excellent addition,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder emphasized. “Scorpion manufactures some of the highest quality parts in the high performance aftermarket industry and I hope all of our racers will become customers if they are not already.”
As in previous seasons, Scorpion Racing Products will again give a set of Scorpion Race Series rocker arms to the driver with the most 40-point feature wins in each of the five IMCA Modified regions and in both of the IMCA Stock Car regions. Second through fifth place finishers in regional point standings for both divisions all receive $100 Scorpion Racing Products product certificates.
Scott Reynolds, Scorpion’s Executive Vice President states, “We’re thrilled to help sponsor the IMCA Modified division. Our decals will be on approximately 3,000 race cars across the nation, and we’re happy to help support the drivers with rocker arms and product certificates.”
In addition to rocker arms, Scorpion Racing Products’ line includes lifters, pushrods, valves, valve springs and valve train stabilizers. The company also manufactures high performance fuel rail kits and throttle bodies.
