Madrid, Spain, January 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- GOWEX (GOW-MAB, ALGOW-NYSE Alternext), leader in the development of WiFi Smart Cities (Wireless Smart Cities ®) and WiFi Intelligent Transport has signed a roaming agreement with AT&T Wireless, major U.S. carrier and one of the largest in the world.
Through this partnership, GOWEX will continue to expand its roaming services and its geo location-based advertising through wireless access points mainly located in merchant locations such as restaurants (Starbucks, McDonalds), hotels, post offices and other public buildings, hotels, and some large chain stores.

GOWEX users may now enjoy of WiFi access in important cities such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco or Las Vegas. The customers of AT&T Wireless will also have today access to over 65 GOWEX WiFi cities with internet in public spaces, transportation, retail outlets or across the street (such as Madrid, Paris, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Dublin, etc), and have access to all the networks of the Roaming Platform members.

GOWEX WiFi Roaming patented platform consolidates every year as one of the major recurring revenue streams for the company, which supports largely the sustainability of its business model. Network service revenues (access, roaming, offloading and interconnection), included in the GOWEX Wireless division, grew a 79% between 2010 and 2011.
GOWEX announced last January 15th a similar agreement with Deutsche Telekom AG that added the coverage of the company with 29,000 new WiFi hotspots, mainly in Europe and USA.
