Major Growth in Asia’s Petrochemical Markets Raises New Issues
350 Key petrochemical stakeholders to gather in Bangkok this June.
Bangkok, Thailand, February 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- As landmark developments from chemical manufacturing giants come to fruition within the region, Asia’s petrochemical market is seeing clear signs of rapid expansion. In light of this, 350 key industry stakeholders are expected to converge at the 2nd Petrochemical Asia when it returns to Bangkok on 18 & 19 June 2013 to discuss emerging issues and opportunities as a result of Asia’s steady growth.
As the global chemical industry becomes increasingly competitive, chemical producers are forced to embrace and adapt to the changing dynamics in order to remain successful. Petrochemical Asia will feature key industry thought leaders and experts who will be discussing strategies and sharing insights to help ensure that Asian chemical manufacturers are able to cope with continuing economic volatility and emerging business opportunities.
“Asian players in the industry will need to prepare themselves to stay competitive in a rapid growth market,” says Sally Tan, Project Director for Petrochemical Asia. “From ExxonMobil’s largest chemical expansion project in Singapore to the Nghi Son refinery and petrochemical complex in Vietnam, it is apparent that international oil companies and other chemical giants are seeking to actively participate in Asia’s growing markets.”
This year, the senior level conference and exhibition will focus on optimising engineering and management processes to overcome chemical manufacturing challenges within a rapidly shifting market. In particular, the conference will profile new business opportunities across the main manufacturing countries in the region as well as feature project updates from key players on their new projects.
Key topics discuss include:
- Insider briefings on new project updates, opportunities and challenges
- Developing an alternative feedstock strategy for coal, biofuels and new gas
- Managing new environmental technology, regulations and social activism
- Implementing manufacturing plant efficiency and control improvements
- Building the necessary skills to be able to react quickly to unexpected changes
