Old Hook Medical Associates warmly welcomes a new Gynecology Specialist Dr. Siegel for practice at their Patient Centered Medical Home in Bergen County.
Emerson, NJ, February 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Old Hook Medical Associates, a multi-specialty medical practice, announced the addition of Amy M. Siegel, MD,OB/GYN to its roster of physicians. Dr. Siegel will specialize in gynecology and will bring her 20+ years of experience at leading medical institutions to the practice. Dr. Siegel attended New York University Medical School and did her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Siegel is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
At Old Hook Medical Dr. Siegel will see non-pregnant women at all ages and stages of life for well-woman visits, mammogram referrals, routine testing such as PAP tests and screenings for sexually transmitted diseases. Dr. Siegel firmly believes in the importance of young women being screened for Human papillomavirus and receiving the HPV vaccine which prevents infection with the virus. The Human papillomavirus is known to cause genital warts as well as cervical cancer. “The vaccine has been proven safe and effective in both young women and men,” Dr. Siegel said, “as a physician, I want to do my part to eliminate this deadly disease.”
