Woburn, MA, February 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On Tuesday, February 12th from 8:30am to 10:30am, members of the HR BioTech Connect group will meet to learn how to improve their performance management efforts.
The event, which will be attended by HR professionals in the BioTech and Life Sciences industries, will be hosted by a member of HR BioTech Connect located in Kendall Square in Cambridge.
The keynote speaker for this event is Jamie Resker, Founder and Practice Leader of Employee Performance Solutions. The topic of Resker’s presentation is “Do Your Performance Management Processes Do More Harm Than Good?”
During the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to:
· Discover the worst times to talk about performance during the annual review
· Identify and replace unfriendly performance management distractions so that the process feels more collaborative and developmental
· See and receive examples of simple and streamlined forms, performance measurement models and rating scales.
· Gain insight into how to socialize some of these ideas within your organization and open people’s eyes to new performance management practices and possibilities.
“We are thrilled to have Jamie speak at our next HR BioTech Connect meeting, ” said Jeanne Nicholson, Founder of the HR BioTech Connect group. “There is no doubt that many managers and employees dislike the typical performance review process.
