Manufacturer of Food Processing Equipment Urschel Italy Hosts Opening Ceremony

Valparaiso, IN, February 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Urschel International Limited Italy first opened in December of 2011. In November 2012, the company celebrated by hosting a grand opening, attended by management from Urschel Corporate and Urschel International, local dignitaries, and Urschel customers.

Castagnole delle Lanza Mayor Marco Violardo presided over the official ribbon cutting using a golden TranSlicer® slicing knife, specifically manufactured in honor of the event. After the ribbon cutting, local clergy led an invocation. Marco Cortese, Urschel Italy Sales Manager, was then awarded a plaque commemorating the new office presented by Tim O'Brien, Vice President of Sales.

Tours of the office were given and Urschel cutting equipment was displayed including the new AFFINITY™ large dicer. Many cutting demonstrations were featured. Refreshments and specialty gift baskets were given to all attendees. The event presented a unique opportunity to see the vast array of Urschel cutting equipment up close.
