Charles H. Ham is a life-long resident of a small East Texas community. He started working on the family ranch at a young age and continued to work as a cowman all of his life. He has raised a family and enjoyed living the sometimes hard but slow life, breaking horses and tending cows. Now at eighty-six, years old, it seems to him the best thing to do is write down his reminiscences.
