1980s MTV Format Web TV Network, Nūtral TV, is Accepting Web Series and Short Film Submissions
Beverly Hills, CA, February 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Nūtral TV is calling for producers to submit their short form content (i.e. web series, short films) to be showcased on their daily show and throughout nutraltv.com. Nūtral TV is a new, streaming web TV network showcasing web series and short films using an innovative, yet familiar approach. The web TV startup uses “VJs,” to present individual web series’ episodes and short films. This format is similar to when MTV used VJs to show music videos during the 1980s. Producers can officially submit their content at http://nutraltv.com.
Most web TV distribution networks focus on either user upload capabilities or, if lucky, will license a select few to market on their network. Nūtral TV isn’t a distribution network, but a destination network. It aims to showcase more of a variety of web series’ episodes and short films, from varying genres and formats, everyday. In addition to it’s daily streaming show, nutraltv.com has news, trending videos from around the web, and very soon will have a searchable video library and producer’s marketplace.
“A viewer, looking to the internet as a television alternative, might not know where to find quality entertainment,” said founder of Nūtral TV, Patrick Bardwell. “We not only want to mimic the original MTV presentation format, but want the viewer to lean back without having to click to the next episode every 5 minutes. Turn Nūtral TV on from your favorite device and passively enjoy,” Bardwell expressed.
Nūtral TV is committed to supporting both the independent content creator, by directing viewers to their respective websites, and the viewer, by creating a lean-back experience. The soon-to-launch network is accepting web series and short films submissions like scripted comedies and dramas, to cooking shows and how-to videos, to extreme sports and documentaries and anything in between.
